LG has announced the Andriod Pie update for LG V40 ThinQ in the US for the Verizon users and it is the second update from the LG.
Earlier in January, LG had announced that LG v40 ThinQ is going to Get Andriod pie along with the LG G7 one. LG v35 ThinQ was the first to get Andriod Pie from the LG. As we are moving to the Andriod Q at this time LG is offering Android pie update to the users is a little late.

The Update arrives via OTA with software version number V405UA20a, it also includes April month Security patch. The Andriod pie update for LG V40 ThinQ users includes several new features like Cineshot, story shot, AI composition, Youtube Recording and more on the camera side.

Also, it comes with improved gestured navigation control, Game launcher, improved notifications, Adjusted Volume Control over media and Dual App Access which means you can run the same app with different accounts.
It is expected the update will roll out for all LGv40 ThinQ users in the next few days or within a few weeks. Otherwise, You can go ahead manually by going to Settings-> About Phone-> Software Updates.
Before accessing to update make some free up memory space and should have proper Wi-fi connectivity because of plenty of updates announced this time.
To Recall the features LG v 40 ThinQ features a 6.4-inch display with a screen resolution of 1440*3120pixel with android oreo 8.0. It is powered by octa-core processor with 6 GB Ram /128 GB. The battery capacity is 3300 mah. On the rear side it sports 12MP +16Mp+12MP camera.
