HMD Global has started to roll out the latest Android security update i.e., January 2020 to Nokia 8 Sirocco users.

2020 January update to Nokia 8 Sirocco:

HMD Global owned Nokia had already released the January update to Nokia 3.1, 6.1, 6.1 Plus, and Nokia 7.1. Also that Nokia 5, Nokia 5.1, Nokia 2.2, Nokia 6.2 with Android 9 pie update, Nokia 8.1 and Nokia 9 PureView started to receive the latest security update from Google.

January 2020 update brings as usual security update no Android 10 update to Nokia 8 Sirocco. The file size is 92.6MB. It is recommended to users to make free space in the mobile for making the update and also have a good Wi-fi connection or mobile network.  Users are started to share the images in the Reddit.

Better the users are requested to prefer for the Wi-fi network because if you are in roaming it will include mobile chargers. Still, it is an OTA update it will take time to reach all the users. Also that users are requested to charge the mobile for a full charge before starting Download.

Nokia 8 Sirocco specs:

To recall the Features Nokia 8 Sirocco is an Android one and it was launched in 2018 with Android 8.1 Oreo. It is currently running in Android 9 pie. Soon it is expected to Android 10 update. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835sic, 6Gb RAM and 128GB internal storage. It supports Qi wireless charging.
