Nokia 8.2 5G is an upcoming model in the first quarter of 2020 From HMD Global Nokia which is the successor of Nokia 8.1 with Android Q.

For the past few days, there were rumors surfacing about the Nokia 8.2. As per the current update, Nokia 8.2 will be the first 5G phone from Nokia.

Nokia 8.2 Specs:

Nokia 8.2 will come with a 64MP Quad camera setup and also have a pop-up camera on the front side for selfie lovers. It is expected to come on MWC 2020. The cost of Nokia 8.2 could be $500 as said by HMD Global Juho Sarvias on his twitter page.

The device could be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 735 series based on 7nm with AMOLED display, 64 MP Camera and comes in three variants as:

4GB RAM/64GB Memory

6GB RAM/128GB Memory

8GB RAM/256GB Memory

According to the Counterpoint report Nokia is in the front of giving Android security patch update and Android os to the majority of their models than Huawei, Realme, and Vivo.

Android 10 on Nokia Phones:

Nokia 8.1 which has been currently receiving Android 10 updates through OTA in some regions. Also, the Nokia 9 pure view could be expected to receive the Android 10  as it spotted on Geekbench earlier before. After delivering the Android 10 update to the flagship models, it’s excepted to receive an update for Nokia 7.1, Nokia 6.1, Nokia 6.1 Plus, Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia 2.2, Nokia 3.1 Plus, Nokia 3.2 and Nokia 4.2. Later in Quater1 2020 Nokia 1 plus, Nokia 5.1 plus, and Nokia 8 Sirocco will receive the Android 10 updates.

Not Only Nokia is in the race of 5G phone even Samsung, but Huawei, Realme, Vivo, and oppo are also going to showcase the 5G phones in 2020. They have tied with Qualcomm to use Qualcomm 5G processor on their smartphones. Realme is going to use Qualcomm 5G processor in their Budget phones as promised by Mahadev sheth on earlier before.
