Google has announced the 2021 October Month Android patch update to the locked and unlocked pixel phones 5, 4A, 4XL, 3, 3A XL, and 5A across the globe. It has been expected that Android 12 for pixel phones arrive with the October update but didn’t happen. But the official Android 12 OS has released by Google Yesterday which means that the latest Android 12 for pixel phones is incoming soon.

Locked Verizon’s Pixel 5, 4A, 4XL, 3, and 3A XL phones:

Verizon has announced the latest Android patch update i.e., October Update for the locked google pixel models 5, 4A, 4XL, 3, 3A XL, and 3 XL yesterday in the US. The latest Android update brings the minor update that fixes the bugs and improves phone performance.

It is the 37^th system update for pixel 3 and 3 XL models; 30^th system update for pixel 3A and 3a XL models; 24^th system update for pixel 4 and 4 XL models; 24^th system update for pixel 4 XL and 14^th system update for pixel 4A; 11^th system update for pixel 4a 5g and 12^th system update for pixel 5.

Fido and Telus October schedule:

The Fido and Telus telecom carriers in Canada have also announced the October update to the locked pixel 3 series, 4 series, and pixel 5 series models. Also the unlocked google pixel phones across the globe like Japan, North America, and India receiving the October 2021 Android update. The firmware version for pixel 5a is RD2A.211001.002 for NA/ROW and RD2A.211001.001 for the Japanese variant.

The latest software can be a check on a phone, by the way, tap Settings > System updates > Check for system updates. If a new update is available tap Download now and then install the update.  Since it is an OTA update it will roll out slowly to all the users in a batch-wise manner.

Android 12 Os is Live:

The Android 12 os has officially launched by Google yesterday and the updating for pixel phones will resume soon in the upcoming weeks. Google has scheduled October 27-28 for the android dev summit where it is going to give deep lectures about the Android 12 os features.

The other brands like  Oneplus, Vivo, Oppo, Xiaomi, Realme, and Samsung gearing up for the Android 12 os for their customers. The Oneplus has released the Android 12 os-based oxygen OS 12 eligible models on the community page. As per the schedule already, the Oneplus 9 series received the Android 12 beta version. Apart from that OnePlus 8, OnePlus 9R 5G, OnePlus 8 Pro, OnePlus 8T, OnePlus 7 Pro, OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7T, OnePlus 7T Pro, Oneplus Nord 2 5G, Nord 1,  and Nord CE 5G phones are eligible.

Xiaomi has started to provide the beta Android 12 os beta update for the Xiaomi Mi 11 series models. Realme is going to announce the realme UI 3.0 based android 12 os on October 11. Realme GT Neo 2 is the first realme’s phone that will launch in Europe with pre-installed realme UI 3.0 based Android 12 os. There is no official news from Samsung for one UI 4 based Android 12 os.
