Oppo Realme launched Realme XT in India on Friday via Flipkart with a tag name India’s 1st 64 MP Quad Camera setup smartphone to compute Redmi Note 8 that was launched in China. Earlier before Mahadev Sheth tweeted in his account that Realme is going to launch Realme Phones in Realme Series, Pro Series and X Series. Among this Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro was launched earlier and now Realme XT going for the First Sale on 16th Sep 2019 via Flipkart.

Realme also launched Realme 5 in china as Realme X on last month. Also, they launched Realme Q a few days back with Snapdragon 712 SOC. Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro has sold 1.5 lakh units during its first sale. Realme 5 has got first software update in India which brings Digital Wellbeing, Multi-finger Display, HDR Mode and Night Mode. Realme Buds wireless and Realme 10,000 mAh power bank also comes with this sale.

Realme XT comes in three variant 4 GB | 64 GB @ Rs. 15,999, 6 GB | 64 GB @ Rs. 16,999 and 8 GB | 128 GB Rs. 18,999.

Battery

Realme XT supports a backup of 4,000 mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 charging support of 5v.

Camera

The highlight feature of the Realme XT 64 AI Quad Camera with Ultra Wide-angle Macro lens of Samsung GW1 sensor with f/1.8 aperture + 8 MP wide-angle lens with f/2.25 aperture + two 2 MP macro lens.

Note: Except the 64 MP Camera remaining camera setup is same as Redmi Note 8 that has launched in August.

Measurements & Screen Size

The total diameter of Realme XT is 158.7 mm height and 75.2 mm width and has 183g of weight.

The screen size of 6.4 – inch dew-drop fullscreen display with Super AMOLED screen texture of 2340 * 1080 resolution with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The display supports Dark mode even for third-party applications as confirmed by the official site.

Operating System

Realme XT comes with Android 9 pie on top of ColorOS 6 with Dolby Atmos.

Ports and Sensors

Realme XT supports USB Type C, Dual nano-SIM and TF Card with 3.5mm headset jack. Supported sensors are GPS/Beidou/Galileo, Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Magnetic induction Sensors, Gyro-meter, Acceleration sensor, Pedometer, G-sensor, In-Display Fingerprint.

Upcoming phones that are getting Android 10 update

Google Pixel 2 and Google Pixel 3 series has already got its Android 10 updates. In next month Google Pixel 4 and Google Pixel 4 XL will launch with Android 10.

Realme 3 Pro, Realme 5 Pro, Realme X, Realme XT will get Android 10 during First Quarter 2020, Realme 3, Realme 3i, Realme 5 will receive during Second Quarter 2020 and similarly, Realme 2 Pro will receive during the Third Quarter.

There is no official confirmation for Android 10 Update to Realme 1 and Realme 2.

Upcoming Realme Smartphones

Realme XT Pro with Sanpdragon 730G, 64 MP Quad Camera will be launching during December 2019. Realme has made an agreement with Qualcomm to launch 5G mobiles in the next year 2020 with Snapdragon 700 Series and Snapdragon 855 Plus. Realme has also announced that they are working on 90hertz display.
