Samsung has started to roll out the Android 10 os update to Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus users in the USA and Germany only.
Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus Android 10 (One UI 2.0):
The South Korean giant has already provided an Android 10 update to flagship Galaxy S10 series and also for the Mid-range phones like Galaxy M10 and M20 in India. Now the two years old model galaxy S9 series is started to get Android 10 update along with January 2020.
This update is currently Rolls out only in US and Germany Users. Since it is an OTA update it is rolled out to all the users as soon as possible. The firmware version number for galaxy s9 users in the US are G960USQ7DTA5/G960UOYN7DTA5/G960USQU7DTA5 and file size is 1995.56 MB.
Similarly Galaxy S9 and s9+ user’s in Germany firmware version number are G965FXXU7DTAA/ G965FOXM7DTAA/ G965FXXUDTA3 and File size is 1769.49MB. Already Galaxy s9 and s9 plus users started to share their oS update images in the Reddit.
What brings in Changelog?
The Changelog brings an Android 10( One UI 2.0) update along with the January 2020 update. This also brings updates like Dark mode, Focus Mode, Family Link features and so on. Apart from this Samsung galaxy brings apps like Calculator, Samsung Internet, Samsung Internet, and Samsung Health to the users.
Users have to update these apps individually after you installed the Android 10 on your phone. Before doing an update please check that your phone has a proper Wi-Fi connection and remove unwanted files from the phone.
