Samsung Galaxy Wide 2 has been approved in the Wi-Fi alliance certificate with the Android pie which seems to be getting Android Pie update very soon.
Samsung is started to offering the Android pie update to the budget smartphones. Early in a couple of days Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) and Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro(2017) also spotted on WFA certificate which these models also going to get Android Pie update soon. According to WFA certificate, Samsung Galaxy Wide 2 firmware version is J727N.001 and supports Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac.

To Recall the features Samsung galaxy wide 2(SM-J727S) which has launched in the year 2017 in South Korea as the budget smartphone. It features a 5.5 inch HD Display with a 2.5D curved glass protection. It is powered by an octa-core processor and fueled by a 3300 mah battery. On the front camera, it features 13 MP while in the rear camera 5 MP. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat. The ram capacity is 2 GB Ram and internal storage is 16 GB. Looks like Samsung doesn’t want to lose its customer as 2 years old model is started to receive the latest Android Pie update and we can expect this list to be extended more to the Samsung Galaxy series in upcoming days.
