Redmi series is budget-friendly mobile and a new model Redmi 9 is added to its family by officially launching in Spain market. The official Xiaomi site has sub-variants of Redmi 9 like Redmi Note 9, Redmi Note 9S, Redmi Note 9 Pro which yet to is launched has the model page.

Since it’s a budget smartphone Xiaomi Redmi 9 is powered by MediaTek Helio G80 chipset with 6.53-inch FHD+ Display with water-drop style notch. The screen display aspect ratio is 19.5:9 with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and has Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

The main highlight feature of Redmi 9 is its Quad camera setup with 13MP wide-angle lens + 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens + 5MP macro lens + 2MP depth sensor support.

On the front, it has a single 8MP with f/2.0 aperture.

The Xiaomi Redmi 9 comes in 2 variants as 3GB RAM + 32GB storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage of type eMMC 5.1. Available in three colors Ocean Green, Carbon Gray, Sunset Purple.

Redmi 9 has a battery backup of 5,020mAh that supports 18W fast charge in USB Type-c port. But inside the box, it comes with a 10W charger. The rear side fingerprint sensor is placed at the back of the mobile and supports AI Face unlock. Both SIM supports 4G network, 2.4G WiFi – Direct, Display, and includes IR blaster also. It will be run on the MIUI interface on top of Android 10.

In the upcoming quarter, we can expect to have Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C to gets launched.
