Xiaomi has launched the budget phone Redmi 9 in India at RS.8999 with MIUI 12, Helio P35 soc, and 5000 mAh. Xiaomi has already launched the Redmi 9 Prime during the Amazon Prime Day sale 2020.

Xiaomi has some far launched Redmi Note 9 Pro, Redmi 9 Pro Max, Redmi 9A, and Redmi 9c in the “9” series across the Global.

Xiaomi Redmi 9 Specification and Price in India:

The Redmi 9 launched in India is the Rebranded Version of Redmi 9c that was launched in Malaysia recently. Most of the specs of redmi 9 matches with the redmi 9c budget phone expect the camera and RAM variant.

In redmi 9c there is a triple camera in the rear side but in the redmi 9, there is a two-camera for the Indian market. Xiaomi has already launched the redmi 9 for EUR 149 in Spain and it is the successor Redmi 8 phone.

Redmi 9 Price and First sale in India:

The 4GB RAM+64GB internal storage of redmi 9 is priced at Rs.8999 while 4GB RAM+128GB internal storage is available at RS.9999. The redmi 9 phone is available in three color variants namely Carbon Black, Sky Blue, and Sporty Orange. The first sale of Redmi 9 will start on August 31 at 12 pm via E-commerce sites Amazon India, Mi.com, Mi studios, and leading Offline retail shops.

Xiaomi Redmi 9 specs:

The redmi 9 is the best budget phone from Xiaomi that lies under Rs. 10,000 category that sports a 6.53-inch HD+ IPS  display with a notch on Top and 20:9  taller Aspect ratio. The redmi 9 is powered by an octa-core Mediatek Helio G35 soc Gaming processor which have an Antutu score of 97183 compare to snapdragon 439 soc and 4GB RAM. The redmi 9 comes with a 128GB internal storage capacity which can be expanded up to 512GB using a Micro-SD card.

While speaking about the Photography on the rear side redmi 9 comes with a dual-camera 13MP+2MP and in the front, it has a 5MP for selfie lovers. The Redmi 9 is the first phone in India that comes with an MIUI 12 based Android 10 os.
